High Ground the highest sand dune.

Theis bluff was the high ground for miles. Its slopes were one counties midden. It was a mixture of oysters, clams, conch, and scallop shells mixed with the charcoal of ancient fires. It was obviously a place where original inhabitants had camped or lived due to its proximity to both the ocean and the estuary. The estuary appeared rich in history and now. This high point would have allowed them to see in any direction for miles.
